Uniting to Provide Comprehensive Waste Management Solutions Across the UK
After twelve years of successful partnership working, we are happy to announce that we have merged with Marlin Environmental Services.
This union between Yellowstone and Marlin sees us become the Environmental and Engineering Group – referred to as E&E Group.
The right time to merge
As mentioned, we have worked together for a number of years, so it seemed like a good time to join forces permanently. With our shared values and goals – and equally enviable reputations – a merger was the next logical step.
Our companies have overlapping areas of expertise within the waste management industry but we also have individual strengths and contributions that enhance our joint offering.
Yellowstone has provided recycling, waste treatment and management for Marlin. In turn, Marlin has supported Yellowstone with specialist technical cleaning services, emergency spill response back-up and confined space working solutions.
Benefits of uniting
There are many advantages to consolidating the partnership between Yellowstone and Marlin, including
•Enhanced & Expanded Services
By joining together, we have extended the reach of our waste management services. In addition to an ever broader service offering, our customers can expect improved efficiency, even faster response times and increasingly innovative solutions.
•Fleet Growth
Our combined fleet is now larger and more diverse for enhanced waste management. With a wide range of specialist transport available, our fleet includes everything from tankers and curtain-sided vehicles to crane-mounted lorries.
•Pooled Facilities
Our bricks and mortar resources will remain in place. This includes two engineering workshop sites (in Portsmouth and Plymouth) and three offices. We also have our state-of-the-art treatment plant with extensive waste permit and specialist sampling facilities in Shaftesbury.
•Regional Presence
With our combined fleet and workforce now in operation, this strategic expansion enhances our regional service capabilities for our clients, UK-wide, both on land and off-shore.
•Strengthened Accreditations & Knowledge
We are incredibly proud of our highly skilled teams. The merger between our businesses has only strengthened the qualifications and knowledge of the unified company.
•Investment & Innovation
Both companies have made significant investments and are committed to future growth and improvement.
•Employment Opportunities
The partnership will build on planned growth, providing career progression and new job opportunities.
A successful synergy
Our businesses have nurtured customer loyalty, based on our can-do attitudes and high standards of service. This will remain top of our agenda as the foundation for the E&E Group ethos, as we move forward.
By joining together, we will be able to provide comprehensive environmental and engineering services, including:
- Environmentally responsible and compliant waste management
- Safe and responsible management of packaged, specialist and bulk load waste
- Recycling or safe disposal of both hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams
- Fuel polishing
- Waste sampling and analysis services, including trade effluent consent monitoring and interceptor testing
- Engineering and maintenance
- Specialist technical cleaning
- Confined space consultancy, services and rescue team
- Safety consultancy and training
- Waste transport services (ADR and non-ADR compliant)
Message from our company’s leaders
The newly forged E&E Group retains existing ownership and management. Senior representatives of both companies have expressed their excitement and optimism about the positive impact of the merger:
Russell Lempa of Yellowstone Environmental Solutions commented:
“Rarely does a merger happen where both businesses are in such a strong position. We have taken this unique opportunity to strengthen us further and deliver our shared growth goals and objectives.
The coming years are going to see new jobs, career development for our teams and new services for customers whilst continuing with our core values – keeping the customer at the heart of what we do.”
James & Richard Neno, Owners and Directors of Marlin Environmental Services added:
“In recent years both businesses have gone from strength to strength – and we have enjoyed a fantastic working relationship over the last 12 years – we are delighted to take the next step in our business relationship and form the E&E Group.
Our customers will continue to experience the high-level service we pride ourselves in and our core values of consistency, reliability and customer service remain at the heart of the business. The additional benefits being increased capacity and providing more of a full-service capability.”
